Basic Life Support BLS

You are going on the side of road and see a person lying on road.What things you should do to save the person. You must know few things about basic life support to encounter such situation in life when i happens.Here i am going to to tell you step by step

Security of the Scene: First of all you need to secure the scene.if person is in the mid of the road ,take him to the side.secure the scenes means make sure it don't get worse

Ask him/her Are You Okay?: Strike the person below his shoulder on chest with both hands THREE times with asking ARE YOU OKAY ? Check if he is conscious or not.

Call for Help: Look here and there and ask for help and call rescue or police.

Check Circulation: Check the person's radial or carotid pulse to make sure circulation is working. do this step in 5 seconds. Or just place hand at heart side to check if it is beating or not.

Look if chest is moving or not. Look for spinal Injury, Obstruction in Airways or Jaw Thrust.

CPR:  Do Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation if there is no sign of respiration or circulation.Place one palm at lower part of sternum/chest and lock second palm and push up-to 5cm deep with each strike.
Rate is 100-120 compression per minute.Also do mouth to mouth breathing if needed.
